We at Coforge are hiring AS400 Admin, Please find below JD:-

• Minimum 6 years of experience in iSeries, AS400 System Administration with work management, user management, journal management and o performance management.
• Proven experience in IBM, OS/400,V7R4 and above and Hardware Power 9, 10 systems.
• Expertise in applying PTF and tools upgrade for on AS400.
• Demonstrable skills in iBMi native job scheduler, Advanced Job Scheduler, iSeries Navigator, IBMi Access Client Solution.
• Experience in Backup and Recovery Media Services (BRMS).
• Manage the Backups, Scheduling, Modification.
• Identify the actions required to handle error messages and system reference codes, SAL PAL HMC, QSYSOPR.
• Handling hardware related issues (Tape Library, Hardware management console, disk failure etc) backup issues, distribution queue issues.
• Maintenance activity in the AS400 servers to replace any H/W or upgrade activity.
