Technical Lead (Calgary)

Job Description

The Technical Lead is responsible for the application or domain architecture of a solution, including its assembly and integration into the existing landscape. In alignment with the principles, the Lead defines the structure of the system, its interfaces, and the implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong full‑stack development experience
• Experience with at least one major frontend framework (Preferred: Vue; Acceptable: React or Angular)
• Strong backend API development experience (Preferred: Python; Acceptable: Java, .NET, or Node.js)
• Experience building or maintaining enterprise applications
• Exposure to legacy systems, migrations, refactoring, or modernization efforts
• Good understanding of REST APIs
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization (Preferred: JWT, OAuth, OIDC, Azure AD / MSAL)
• Basic cloud deployment knowledge (Preferred: Azure; Acceptable: AWS)
