Overview

Under the supervision of Maintenance Supervisor, performs initial, in-progress and final inspections on various types of military, commercial, and other forms of Utilities and Special Purpose equipment, Power-Generation equipment, Quartermaster and Chemical equipment, and Construction equipment. Makes proper classification determinations as it pertains to U.S. Government property. Assists Shops as needed with Troubleshooting processes. Uses proper Test Measurement and Diagnostics Equipment (TMDE) in the daily operations phase. Test and Troubleshoot all forms of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) Systems. Conduct Actual Cost of Damages (ACOD), Estimated Cost of Damages (ECOD), Estimated Cost of Repairs (ECOR) and Estimated Cost of Fabrication (ECOF).
