About the Role

Munich Re Madrid is responsible for Reinsurance Non-Life technical accounting and claims accounting for Iberia, Latin America, Caribbean and Italy. We are looking for a flexible and highly motivated Accountant in this demanding, dynamic and international setting, contributing with expertise and engagement in the growing multicultural department.
Your job:
Assume responsibility for Non-Life Reinsurance Accounting for a specific group of regional clients (insurance companies and reinsurance brokers).
Verify reinsurance statements of account from our clients based on the terms and conditions of the wording and by checking specific calculations. 
Process the statements of account in our SAP FS-RI systems, including the use of increasing automation tools.
Arrange for payments, request outstanding balances from our clients and reconcile account items.
Ensure data quality and perform quality checks at contract level.
