About the Role
Smart Education seeks a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a secondary SEMH PRU school in West Bromwich. The role involves supporting the class teacher and working closely with pupils who may display challenging behaviour.
Responsibilities
- Work in a PRU with KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
- Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours effectively
- Help pupils develop social, emotional, and academic skills
