Job Description
In this role you will play a critical role in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of beam‑intercepting devices essential to our accelerator complex. As a dedicated and skilled production engineer, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop, assemble, install, and maintain these precision mechanical systems in challenging environments. Your responsibilities will cover three target stations and two collimators that protect the magnets, along with their associated operational spare parts.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinating the production, assembly, and validation of equipment.
- Participating in commissioning activities before installation.
- Oversee procuring components, writing technical specifications.
- Following up on contractors' work to ensure quality and compliance with CERN standards.
