Solidus is searching for a Systems Safety Engineer for an on-site role based in Tucson, AZ. Schedule: 9/ work schedule

Day in the life:Leading one or more MIL-STD-E compliant system safety programs 
Performing MIL-STD-E System Safety Program tasks and analyses, or customer’s approved equivalent 
Coordinating with customer safety representatives to gain safety approval from appropriate Safety Review Board authorities 
Working across all integrated product teams and lines to properly eliminate hazards or provide effective controls
Collaborating with Program Management and government approval authorities from program startup through production to demilitarization and disposal backgrounds 
Performing System Safety Program, Hazard analyses or Design analyses 
Briefing safety of the program at technical reviews and as part of the safety approval process
