- Define and manage functional safety
requirements across system components - Support
compliance with safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASIL levels,
ASCE 21) - Conduct hazard and risk analysis
(HARA), FMEA, and fault tree analysis - Collaborate with project and software teams to design
safety-related features - Lead safety validation
and verification efforts - Coordinate with
third-party assessors and certification bodies - Document safety concepts and ensure traceability
throughout the project lifecycle
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Systems
Engineering, or similar - 3+ years experience
with functional safety in automotive or robotics - Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508,
