System Programmer (CICS)

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced

CICS System Programmer

with strong hands-on expertise in CICS system programming on IBM z/OS environments. The role requires deep technical knowledge of CICS internals, configuration, installation, maintenance, and performance tuning. This is not an operations or monitoring role.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, customize, and upgrade

IBM CICS Transaction Server

on z/OS
Perform

CICS region setup and management , including AOR/FOR/TOR configurations
Define and manage CICS resources using

RDO / CSD / DFHCSDUP
Administer and support

CICSPlex SM

environments
Handle

CICS-related SMP/E maintenance , PTFs, and version upgrades
Perform

performance tuning

and capacity planning for CICS regions
Diagnose and resolve

CICS system-level issues , abends, dumps, and performance problems
Work closely with z/OS...
