FIFO 8:6 | 12-Month Assignment (2 Year Potential)
We are seeking a Junior Surveyor to support a major mining operation on a FIFO 8/6 roster. This is a 12-month contract with strong potential to extend to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily review of civil and TSF works, including night shift progress.
- Stockpile and material volume calculations (monthly and ad hoc).
- Create and maintain Minestar and Trimble GPS machine files.
- GPS equipment maintenance and operator support.
- As-constructed surveys for TSF, mining and civil works.
- Monthly progress claims, variations and volume tracking.
- Liaison with Mining, Contractors, Engineering, Environmental and GIS teams.
- Maintain survey records and Ascon data in Vulcan.
