About the Role

Dawson Civil is seeking a Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will perform field surveys, interpret plans, and create/manage survey files that support our civil construction projects throughout British Columbia.
As a valued member of Dawson Civil, you will work in a Seasonal, full-time Surveyor position reporting to the Survey Manager. Your home base will be either Kamloops, BC or Quesnel, BC, with regular travel throughout the province.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Always prioritizing the safety of yourself and others
Conducting field surveys, including construction staking, topographic, design, and volumetric surveys
Accurately recording measurements and data, preparing field notes, and performing quality control on survey work
Interpreting plans and completing required calculations
Creating, organizing, and managing survey files
