About the Role
Become a Direct Support Professional with LCDS in Sarnia, Ontario, dedicated to promoting independence for people with developmental disabilities. Assist in personal care and community engagement.
LCDS has proudly supported individuals with unique needs for over 70 years, and we are expanding our Supported Independent Living program. As a Direct Support Professional, you will create opportunities for personal growth, offer essential daily living support, and ensure dignity and excellence in care for all clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan support services for individuals with disabilities
• Develop skills to aid clients in achieving their goals
• Provide needed personal care and medical assistance
• Encourage community participation and daily living skills
Requirements:
• Holder of valid 'G' or 'G2' driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check necessary
• Legal entitlement to employment in Canada
