Supply Teaching Assistants

Bialik Hebrew Day School is seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants for our midtown Toronto and Vaughan branches. Successful candidates will be added to our supply list and be called in to cover Teaching Assistant absences as needed.

Student Support

• Help to focus students’ attention to ensure appropriate comprehension and task-completion.
• Direct parent inquiries about a student’s progress to the teacher; and report any observations about a child to the teacher who will address concerns with the parent.

Classroom Management

• Help foster a positive, safe classroom environment that promotes respect and cooperation.
• Apply discipline consistent with the teacher’s approach under the direction of the teacher.
• Be attentive to the safety of the children at all times.

Skills and Experience

• ECE certification is preferred.
