Job Summary

The Supply Planning Specialist ensures the availability of stocks at the least possible cost for the assigned product group or assigned customer.

Responsibilities

• Creates and recommends short- and long‑term plans to superiors related to replenishment planning for items belonging to their category.
• Simulates, discusses, and provides scenarios of changes in forecast to determine critical items with the immediate superior.
• Presents a high/low scenario based on historical trends on related products, to anticipate lapsing or run‑out.
• Provides delivery schedule and coordinates with suppliers on quantity, timeliness, and other day‑to‑day concerns, delivery performance, and gives feedback to the purchasing department on supplier's reliability.
