BESIX Watpac is seeking a Supervisor, responsible for the day to day organisation of the on site construction staff, including subcontractors, and their various disciplines.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
Proactively drive company safety policies, practices and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times Organise on a daily and weekly time frame the sequencing of the on site activities ensuring that the subcontractors have access to their work face for materials and equipment, including the co-ordination of materials, equipment, personnel, and materials handling plant. Assist the Site Manager and report on a daily basis, site activities which could result in points of delay, safety problems, industrial unrest, and take whatever action is necessary to avert problems.
