A leading U.S. shipyard is seeking an experienced Superintendent I to oversee commercial and government new heavy steel fabrication projects , including shipboard repair work . This role is a senior project-focused position with full ownership of contractual deliverables , cost control, schedule management, and compliance — without daily direct supervision of trade labor.

This is a high-visibility leadership role within shipyard operations, ideal for a superintendent with deep fabrication knowledge and strong contract execution experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new heavy steel fabrication projects from planning through completion
• Develop project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
