Summer Playground Counselors

This seasonal role works to support daily playground program operations, by working directly with the campers to help facilitate activities, promote positive behavior, and ensure a safe, inclusive and engaging camp environment. The Playground Leaders will plan and organize games, team sports, table games, contests, tournaments, and arts & crafts. Camp Counselors work under the direction of the Camp Leader. The Summer Playground Program is open to any child ages 6-12 who reside in Mechanicsburg School District. This program is offered June 8 through July 31, Monday through Thursday from 9:00am-1:30pm at Koser Park, Fisher Park and Winding Hills South Park. Mandatory staff trainings will be May 12, 13, 14.
