Summer Admin Supervisor-Summer Programs

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Mt Seymour’s Eco-Adventure Camp provides wilderness-based day camp programs for children aged 5-12. Our experiential camps engage kids in nature education, wilderness survival skills, and personal growth. This full‑time seasonal position will be part of a small dynamic team that oversees Mt Seymour’s Summer Camp Programs and a team of Outdoor Education Guides. The position can extend into the winter to assist with Mt Seymour’s winter programming and guided snowshoe tours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Train, support and supervise summer program instructors and volunteers.
• Develop and implement programming.
• Supervise day‑to‑day operations of summer programs – including overseeing the opening or closing procedures when the Outdoor Education Manager is not present onsite.
• Prepare weekly reports and organize camp groups by Friday at 10:00 AM in advance of each upcoming camp session.
