About the Role
Growing National firm looking to add a talented Engineering Manager – Substation Design to their Columbus team!
Responsibilities
Direct/facilitate the design of high-voltage substations (15kV to 500 kV) using design software
Ensure client standards and applicable designcodes/specifications are met
Manage drawing development workflows and
CAD-based design operations, ensuring alignment with project goals, quality
benchmarks, and team performance
Mentor/train junior staff to promote team
growth, skill development, and knowledge transfer
Ensure QA/QC standards for the department to
manage risk, and ensure quality outcomes
Build/maintain client relationships to ensure long-term
partnerships and meet business goals
Manage tasks between multiple departments to optimize task
execution across teams, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget targets are met/exceeded
