Job Purpose

Working within the Manufacturing Engineering department in Product Lines. PHINIA offers placements across a range of engineering, manufacturing, and support departments for students looking to pursue a career in engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Development of test equipment and instrumentation.
• Run and develop performance test procedures.
• Test rig improvements.
• Improving manufacturing cycle up‑times.
• Supporting established assembly and test processes.
• Cost reduction exercises.
• Manufacturing line support.
• Inspection of components from warranty, customer testing or internal testing.
• Interpretation of test data, synthesis of results, and reporting.
• Problem solving through a methodical approach and innovative techniques.
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and process documentation.
