Position 2: BEM-Licensed Structural Engineer

Job Overview We are looking for a qualified Structural Engineer who is actively registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). This role requires strong technical acumen in structural analysis and design review for mixed-development projects. You will act as a key technical competency lead, ensuring structural integrity and compliance throughout the sub-structural and superstructural phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Compliance: Ensure all structural works comply with local by-laws, Malaysian Standards (MS), and international codes (Eurocode/BS).
• Design Review: Review and coordinate structural drawings, shop drawings, and calculations provided by consultants for both sub-structure and super-structure works.
• Site Engineering: Resolve technical queries (RFI) raised by the site team or sub-contractors regarding rebar details, concrete grades, and structural connections.
