Quantum Engineering Ltd. is an established structural engineering consulting firm located in Chilliwack, BC. We are looking for a Structural Engineer‑in‑Training to join our team. The role involves working on projects from conceptual stages through to construction completion, providing versatile and in‑depth design experience within a smaller firm environment. Responsibilities
Design elements of buildings and other structures in concrete, timber, steel, and cold‑form steel according to design principles and the BC Building Code under the guidance and supervision of a professional engineer. Prepare design sketches and drawings in conjunction with a drafter and assist in the preparation of engineering drawings. Communicate with clients, including contractors, construction managers, and architects. Collaborate with engineering staff, including engineers and draftspersons. Review shop drawings. Perform site visits and field reviews under engineer guidance. Skills Required
