About the Role

Position Summary


Structural Engineer designs, analyzes, and oversees construction of resilient structures (bridges, retaining walls, infrastructure). Partners with architects and contractors to deliver code-compliant, on-time, on-budget projects using advanced analysis tools.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and calculate structures to resist wind, seismic, and gravity loads.

  • Lead projects from concept to completion, enforcing schedules and budgets.

  • Collaborate with teams to refine designs and ensure code compliance.

  • Inspect sites to verify quality and structural integrity.

  • Produce calculations, drawings, and reports using AutoCAD, OpenRoads, PSBeam, MDX, SAP2000.

  • Comply with ODOT, AASHTO, AISC, ACI, ASTM standards.

  • Perform feasibility studies and cost estimates to guide material and method selection.
