Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Fabrication and Installation: Cut, bend, and place steel bars or mesh to reinforce concrete structures (beams, columns, slabs).
• Structural Erection: Assemble, align, and fasten structural steel frameworks, girders, and columns.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, sketches, and instructions to determine material sizes and placements.
• Equipment Operation: Use shears, acetylene torches, grinders, and welding machines.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations, including working at heights and handling heavy machinery.
• Site Management: Properly handle, lift, and store steel materials.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Proven experience in structural steel fabrication or rebar installation.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in welding (if required), cutting, and reading blueprints.
