About the Role
1. Sound experience in EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) operations in carbon & alloy steel plants
2. Experience in stainless steel making will be an added advantage.
3. Needs to have good working knowledge about furnace refractory repair in hot and cold conditions.
4. Independent handling of the shift during operation
5. Good communication skills (verbal and written).
6. Shall be conversant in ERP and MS Office
7. Shall have adequate know-how about the safety for EAF operations.
8. Need to have good understanding on operations to reduce power consumption and yield improvement in the heat.
9. Good know-how about the workplace management system.
10. Shall have analytical mindset to address quality and operation issues.
11. Should have experience working into LF/VD
Qualification - Diploma or BE (Metallurgy)
