Maya's Platform Engineering team is looking for a Staff Software Engineer focused on our AI Backend to help build the internal platforms that power our entire developer ecosystem.
This is a role for someone who can think big picture, design foundational systems, and use AI as a force multiplier—not a crutch.
What You'll Be Doing
As a key technical leader in our Platform Engineering team, you will:
Build Internal MicroSaaS Platforms. Architect, develop, and maintain high‑reliability developer platforms using Java and Python.
Integrate AI Where It Matters Most. Identify smart opportunities to embed AI—automated code reviews, predictive scaling, intelligent documentation, and more—to transform platform velocity.
