Staff Backend Engineer

We’re seeking a talented Staff Engineer to join our mission of making money work for everyone. As a Product Backend Engineer, you’ll collaborate within a squad of diverse specialists, including product managers, marketers, designers, and other engineers, to build and support key parts of Monzo. You’ll be instrumental in testing hypotheses and delivering impactful solutions to our customers. Our product squads are organized into collectives (Money, Borrowing, Fincrime, etc.), offering a variety of opportunities to match your skills and preferences.

We use technologies like Go, Cassandra, Kafka, Envoy Proxy, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and React.
