Staff Accountant (Mid-Level)

Reporting to Chief Accountant you will be responsible for:
* Month end process and closing for all entities & preparation of general journal entries

* Reconciliations (bank, customers, suppliers, others) to ensure accurate settlements

* Assist in tax preparation including VAT, income tax, NSSF and employee payroll

* Assist in preparation of P&L statements

* Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program

* Reconciles finished goods inventories

* Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures

* Financial record keeping and filing as needed



Educational Background & Requirements:

* Education: Bachelor Degree in Accounting from a reputable university (Masters is a plus)

* Experience: 4-5+ years in a similar role, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing

* Fluent in English, and Arabic (French is a plus)
