SRE Engineer

Requirements:

Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, or relevant work experience.
3+ years of experience as an SRE.
Wants to automate everything.
Familiarity in ITIL or other Information Technology operations foundations.
Interest and ability in mentoring staff - improving technical capabilities.
Knowledge of Mainframes.
Extensive engineering familiarity of various technical domains with experience in the following areas:
Scripting and automation (Java, Python, shell, etc.)
Creating content (dashboard, reports, etc.) using Grafana, ElasticStack, Prometheus.
Experience utilizing alerting tools such as Moogsoft, CloudProbe, and Geneos.
Monitoring & Instrumentation Tools (AppDynamics, New Relic, Splunk, ThousandEyes, or other APM tools).
Pipeline Technologies (CI/CD, Jenkins, Gitlab, etc.).
Code Repository Management (GitLab, Git, GitHub)
Messaging (IBM MQ, ...
