About the Role
Overview
The Sr. Test Engineer will be responsible for managing our environmental, reliability and failure analysis programs while supporting the operations with continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develops test protocols (electrical, mechanical, environmental and accelerated testing)
- Manage the laboratory test request and allocate resources as required
- Supervises staff of technicians and operators
- Manage the preventive maintenance program for the quality department
- Manage the return analysis program
- Manages the QMT Program
- Participate in new product development (NPD) to ensure all customer requirements are met and the manufacturing process is robust
- Manages Calibration program
- Work with engineering and manufacturing staff, equipment manufacturers and vendors to develop solutions and implement preventative measures to address product and process quality problems
