About the Role
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring product quality and reliability throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. This role owns product/process health indicators, drives systematic corrective actions, supports NPI transitions, and ensures customer satisfaction through robust quality controls and issue resolution.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Telecom/Photonics/Mechatronics preferred).
Skills
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and statistical reasoning skills.
- Experience in quality systems, DPPM analysis, ICAR/CAR, NPI support, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001/IATF 16949, SPC, FMEA, GR&R, and reliability concepts is advantageous.
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corporation
