About the Role
1. Design & Drafting
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for aluminum and glass systems (windows, doors, curtain walls, partitions, cladding, balustrades, skylights, canopies, etc.).
- Develop 3D models and system details using CAD and BIM tools.
- Ensure all designs meet project specifications, technical standards, and structural requirements.
2. Technical Coordination
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify conflicts or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients to clarify design requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to junior designers and draftsmen.
3. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, EN, or local building codes).
