Sr Design Engineer

Job DescriptionThe Engineer will support the development of cutting-edge new products to meet ever increasing demands of the transportation industry.
This position requires a basic understanding of turbochargers & vehicle systems combined with creativity and drive to develop new products based on customer needs.
Responsibility spans from supporting concept development of complex projects, support through test/validation and launch.
The Design Engineer leads the application design integrating all aspects from rotor systems and mechanics.Work with cross-functional teams including Development Engineering, Program Management, Product Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Base to ensure robust designs.Use internal standards & industry experience to design complex systems, that meet customer specific requirements & packaging space.Have strong focus on built in quality.
