About This Job
Design, build, and operate secure, observable data pipelines and models across SQL Server/SSIS/DBT/Python/Fivetran. Serve as a technical owner for critical datasets, driving standards, code quality, and DataOps practices so the pod meets service SLAs/SLOs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines and DBT models; optimize for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Own pipeline observability (dashboards, alerts, runbooks) and data quality rules mapped to SLIs/SLOs (freshness, completeness, accuracy, timeliness).
- Establish and enforce coding standards, code reviews, and secure development practices (secrets, least-privilege).
Harden CI/CD (ADO- GitHub) and automate tests, validations, and deployments. - Partner with BA on acceptance criteria and with Scrum Master on predictable delivery and spillover management.
