Sr. Big Data Developer (Winnipeg)

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years total IT experience
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience
• 3+ years on distributed computing and multithreading
• 5+ years core Java and 2+ years Java 8.0
• 2+ years Spark, Scala, Data Torrent, HBase, Hive, HDFS, Sqoop, PIG, MapReduce
• 5+ years RDBMS and SQL
• Strong SDLC experience using Agile methodology
• Understanding of high performance and large Hadoop clusters
• Effective communication skills; direct customer interaction preferred
• Excellent verbal and written skills with business leaders
