About the Role

Job Description:
L3Harris’ Public Safety and Professional Communciations business unit is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team. This position will be based at our Forest, Virginia facility (On-Site).The Quality Engineer will contribute to the company’s success by engaging with our stakeholders to prevent and correct quality issues. This role will report directly to the Manager, Quality Engineering.
Essential Functions:
Develop and implement quality processes and procedures
Collaborate with both internal (Operations, Engineering, and Program Management) as well as external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and are being properly executed
Determine root cause for products or services that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action
