The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in database administration combined with analytical skills, troubleshooting discipline, and a proactive mindset.
Core Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
• SQL Server Administration: installation, configuration, patching, backups, clustering/HA, and performance tuning.
Typical Day in the Role & Expectations:
• Manage and monitor SQL Server and DB2 environments for performance, health, and stability.
• Perform backup/restore operations, validate job success, and support DR readiness activities.
• Execute database deployments, upgrades, and patching within change management policies.
