**Job Description**
The Spot Welder performs resistance spot welding on metal components according to drawings and specifications on an afternoon shift production line. This role sets up and operates spot-welding equipment, prepares and assembles parts, and ensures that all welded joints meet strength, accuracy, and appearance standards. The position supports safe, efficient production by maintaining a clean work area, assisting with material handling, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
**Responsibilities**
Perform resistance spot welding on metal components in accordance with drawings, specifications, and work orders.
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, templates, and work orders to determine welding requirements.
Set up, adjust, and operate spot-welding machines, including selecting and maintaining proper heat, pressure, and timing settings.
