About the Role
-Conduct thorough speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing assessments using standardized and non-standardized tools.
-Interpret assessment results to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders.
-Develop comprehensive diagnostic reports with clear recommendations.
-Design and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
-Provide direct speech and language therapy to individuals and groups, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and materials.
-Monitor client progress, modify therapy plans as needed, and ensure optimal outcomes.
-Communicate effectively and regularly with clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals (e.g., OTs, PTs, psychologists, educators, physicians) regarding client progress, therapy goals, and home carryover strategies.
