- Engineering / Mining Industry experience
- Completed relevant National Diploma and/or Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management
- Postgraduate Qualification (advantageous)
- Solid experience (7-10 years) with management experience in global sourcing, supplier selection and supplier approval, as well as supply chain management at highest level (Global OEM exposure advantageous)
- Strong Experience in Global ERP (SAP S4/Hana), Supplier Relationship Management Tools (eg. Ariba); Business Intelligence and Reporting
- CIPS / SAPICS accreditation (advantageous)
- Solid experience in sustainable supplier management, supplier evaluation and supplier performance management (experience in ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and SA 8000)
- Experience and deep knowledge of sourcing/supply chain procedures and principles
