Software Development Manager, K8s - EKS, AWS - Amazon EKS

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead the EKS Lighthouse team — the experience and intelligence layer of Amazon's Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS). Lighthouse owns how customers observe, diagnose, and manage their Kubernetes clusters at scale through EKS Console, APIs, multi-cluster dashboard, and AI-enabled diagnostic workflows.

This role combines technical leadership, people management, and strategic thinking to drive the future of container orchestration and influence how AWS simplifies Kubernetes management at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Own staffing and manage a two-pizza engineering team that creates and operates integration services at scale.
• Define product roadmaps, build team culture, develop best practices, and continually improve the overall experience for integrating with EKS.
• Deal with ambiguity, solve complex problems at scale, and maintain operational/technical excellence.
