Software Development Engineer (Python)

• Write and maintain production Python code 

• Build backend services and REST APIs 

• Automate cloud resources using Ansible driven by code 

• Write and maintain automated tests for Python code using pytest 

• Debug, fix, and improve services running in production 

Good to have: 

• Public cloud experience (OCI, AWS, GCP) 

• Basic distributed systems understanding (failures, retries, scaling) 

• Linux security & hardening knowledge relevant to running backend services 

Note: This role is about building backend software, not managing tools or processes. If you don’t spend most of your time coding, this won’t be a match.

Mandatory Skills: 

• Python Backend (Hands-on): Written and owned substantial production Python code running as backend services; not scripting or simple wrappers
