Software Development Director

**Job Description**



Lead a mission-critical cloud platform service as a UK-based Director of Software Development (M4). You will own strategy, delivery, and 24x7 operations for a distributed team across the US and India building the Spectra framework service. Partner with Product, Architecture, SRE, and Security to define the roadmap, deliver high-quality features, and ensure operational excellence. Establish engineering best practices (design reviews, testing, CI/CD, observability), drive reliability with clear SLOs/SLIs and incident management, and champion secure-by-design and compliance. You’ll hire and develop leaders, scale teams, and prioritize strategic investments that improve performance, resilience, and cost efficiency for long-term platform health.
