About the Role

Our Equipment Development Engineering department has been at the forefront of developing HDA (Hard Drive Assembly) automation assembly machines for several years. We innovate and create best-in-class equipment and manufacturing technology to support Seagate’s component and product roadmaps. Our efforts focus on improving overall equipment efficiency, enhancing capital utilization and longevity, and ensuring the health and safety of our employees.
About the role - you will:
Support development, testing, and maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment for HDD assembly

Build expertise in equipment software, controls, and electrical systems through hands-on experience and guidance

Work on routine engineering assignments, following established standards and procedures

Contribute to projects, assist in troubleshooting, implement changes, and document engineering work
