Snubber Technician I

**Overview**

Element has an opportunity for a **Snubber Technician** in our Huntsville, AL lab. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tests and/or measurement tasks for the Nuclear Snubber department. _Nuclear Snubber: Testing and rebuilding of snubber devices at nuclear power plants during outages._

**Please note, this is a casual role with irregular working hours and is expected to travel up to 100% of the time.**

Salary: $22- $32/hr DOE

**Responsibilities**

• Removal and Reinstallation - Removes and reinstalls snubbers
• Perform Testing - Performs qualification, acceptance testing and RND testing for nuclear customers
• Maintenance - Maintains and rebuilds snubbers
• Under close supervision, able to complete basic technical and mechanical procedures including basic testing and maintenance on snubbers
