Snowflake Developer – Job Description
Role Summary
The Snowflake Developer builds and maintains scalable ELT pipelines, data models, and transformations within the Snowflake ecosystem to enable analytics, reporting, and business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines into Snowflake.
Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and Snowflake scripts .
Implement data models (star schema, data vault, curated layers).
Build and maintain Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and scheduling workflows .
Integrate with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Informatica, Matillion, or Fivetran.
Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes.
Tune query performance and warehouse utilization .
Support BI dashboards and reporting requirements.
Participate in CI/CD, version control, and DevOps for data pipelines.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.
