Snowflake Developer – Job Description
Role Summary
The Snowflake Developer builds and maintains scalable ELT pipelines, data models, and transformations within the Snowflake ecosystem to enable analytics, reporting, and business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines into Snowflake.
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and Snowflake scripts.
- Implement data models (star schema, data vault, curated layers).
- Build and maintain Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and scheduling workflows.
- Integrate with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Informatica, Matillion, or Fivetran.
- Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes.
- Tune query performance and warehouse utilization.
- Support BI dashboards and reporting requirements.
