Site Reliability Engineer role at Canonical (globally remote). Canonical provides open source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, supports enterprise initiatives in cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to help perfect enterprise infrastructure DevOps practices and to advance automation across on‑premise and cloud environments.
We deploy and run OpenStack, Kubernetes, storage solutions, and open source applications, applying DevOps practices. You will work across the full stack from bare‑metal networking and kernels up to Kubernetes and open source applications, with training in core technologies such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, security standards, Kubeflow, Kafka, OpenSearch, databases, and more. Automation is viewed as a software engineering problem, driven by metrics and code.
