Shop Labourer – Rigging Technician

At Royal Rigging, a Rigger / Sling & Rigging Technician is a skilled professional responsible for ensuring that all lifting equipment we build, inspect, test, and release is safe, compliant, and ready for real-world use. This role covers the full lifecycle of rigging — from fabrication and inspection to testing, tagging, and certification — with a strong focus on safety, quality, and traceability.

Our riggers build and inspect chain slings, wire rope, and hardware, identify failures, perform load calculations, and have full authority to stop unsafe work. This is not a shop helper role — it’s a technical position where attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to safety directly impact clients, our reputation, and jobsite outcomes.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday to Friday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• One Saturday/month
