About the Role
Penmac Staffing is hiring a Material Handler for a local transmission remanufacturing facility. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position for candidates who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities for the Material Handler:Move units throughout the facility, including:Reman to DynoDyno to staging, shelf, or reman tech (dyno fail) Process new returns:Inspect units and verify conditionReturn oil, coolers, and other items to stock Prepare transmissions for shipping in the Tote Packing Area (TPA):Rinse grime and oil, touch up paintAdd accessories and installation guidePrint shipping labels and stage units Maintain a clean work environment in TPA, reman storage, and staging areas Complete equipment logs for forklifts, order pickers, and hoists Load freight trucks and company delivery vehicles, verifying freight before loading Communicate effectively with the manager regarding workflow and issues Sche...
